How do progressive lenses work? Will I get used to progressive glasses?

Progressive lenses allow you to enjoy natural vision at any distance.

When we look far away, our pupil is directed upwards; if we look at the mid-plane (at a distance of 30-40 cm at 6 metres), it is located approximately in the middle of the eye and, when we are doing work that requires good near vision, it moves towards the lower part of the eye, as if we were looking through the lower part of the eye.
